About the Role

The Substitute - Educational Assistant assists teachers in managing classroom activities and supporting students with their educational needs. The role involves maintaining instructional materials and ensuring a safe learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities

• Maintain instructional materials and/or manual and electronic files.
• Monitor individual and/or groups of students for a safe learning environment.
• Administer minor first aid to meet immediate health care needs.
• Perform general clerical tasks for teachers.
• Report observations and incidents relating to specific students.
• Assist students with lesson assignments.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent.
• First Aid & CPR Certification - American Heart Association.
• Ability to lift weights ranging from five to fifty pounds.
