Part-Time Day PCT / CNA

About the Role

The role involves providing patient care appropriate to various needs and ensuring a clean and safe environment. Ideal candidates will participate in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments according to policy and procedure.
• Function appropriately in clinical emergencies.
• Exhibit a desire to learn and upgrade skills continuously.
• Assist in the delivery of patient care as a team member under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Document and report all procedures in accordance with department policy.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Requirements

• High School Grad or Equivalent.
• 1+ applicable PCT experience (Preferred).
• Basic Life Support – CPR Certification (BLS) required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) required.
• NHA Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) required.
