Castle Rock is getting its first Dunkin'.
The chain announced on Sept. 1, 2026 that it will open a restaurant this fall at 1185 Aloha Street, in the Founders Marketplace commercial center on the northeast quadrant of Founders Parkway and State Highway 86. Soft opening and grand opening dates have not been announced — Dunkin' says those details are coming in the next few weeks.
It will be the only Dunkin' in town. Until it opens, the nearest location is in Parker on East Lincoln Avenue.
What's coming
The Castle Rock store is built to Dunkin's Next Generation format. Per the announcement, that means:
- A cold-drink tap system pouring iced coffee, iced tea, Cold Brew and Nitro-Infused Cold Brew — the nitro pour is exclusive to Next Gen stores
- A dedicated mobile-order pickup area with a digital order status board for orders placed ahead in the Dunkin' app
- A front-facing bakery case, a drive-thru, and free Wi-Fi
The restaurant is just under 1,600 square feet and will employ about 15 people, open daily from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is locally owned and operated by Quality Brand Group, a Dunkin' franchisee network — Castle Rock will be the group's 18th Dunkin' in Colorado.

The part the press release doesn't tell you: this took almost three years
The Town's Planning Commission reviewed the site plan back in December 2023. Quality Brand Group filed for a restaurant with a drive-thru on a 1.13-acre lot that had never been built on — the last undeveloped piece of a commercial plan the Town zoned in 1985. (The 2023 filing described a 1,798-square-foot building; the announced restaurant comes in just under 1,600.)
One detail from that review worth knowing: the drive-thru faces south on purpose. Apartments sit directly north of the lot, and after three neighborhood meetings the plan put the drive-thru lane on the south side of the building to keep headlights and speaker noise away from them — with landscaping added beyond what the Town required.
What's next
Dunkin' says soft opening and grand opening details will be announced in the coming weeks. We'll update the directory listing and this article when a date lands — and once the store is open and claimed on Google, its live hours will replace the announced ones.
