BODYBAR Pilates, a reformer Pilates franchise, is coming to Lone Tree at 9231 Lincoln Avenue, Suite 600-700 — near the Lincoln Station RTD stop and the Lincoln Station shopping area. It's a second Douglas County studio for the brand: BODYBAR's Highlands Ranch location, at 9265 S. Broadway, is already open.

The workout
BODYBAR is a group-based reformer Pilates studio. The brand's own pitch is "high intensity, low impact" for "all ages, all body types, all fitness levels." The Lone Tree studio's page lists seven class formats:
- Precision — classic reformer work focused on form and core
- Performance — a faster-paced, athletic reformer class
- Strength — reformer and Chair, progressive resistance
- Fusion — mixed equipment (reformer, jumpboard, chair, tower)
- Agility — jumpboard and reformer, low-impact cardio
- Reset — Tower-based mobility and flexibility
- Balance 40 — a 40-minute recovery class on the Tower and Chair
Why it matters
Reformer Pilates is expanding fast across Douglas County. Besides BODYBAR's two studios, Fierce45 is already open in Castle Rock, Nova Glow Studio opened in Parker in October, and Pilates Addiction is still working toward an opening in downtown Castle Rock.
