Dough Counter Pizza's second location is open in Lone Tree, at 10012 Commons St, Suite 106. The pizzeria's own Instagram announced it Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026: "Our new location in Lone Tree is now open!"

What it is

Dough Counter makes two pizza styles under one roof: a Sicilian pan pizza with a crispy edge, and a hand-tossed New York style pie with a well-done bottom. Per the company's own site, the dough gets five simple ingredients, five full days to cold-rise, and then a 24-hour warm proof before it's baked. Beyond pizza, the menu runs to hand-breaded chicken strips, starters, salads and desserts, and lists gluten-free and vegan options, including a gluten-free Sicilian pizza (small only) and a gluten-free galactic brownie.

Sicilian pies come in small (4-slice) and large (8-slice), from a Sicilian Cheese pie at $15.99/$24.99 up to specialty pies like the Big Mac (ground beef, onion, cheddar, mozzarella, shredded lettuce, burger-style sauce) and Hot Honey Pepperoni. New York pies run $14.99 for a cheese pie up to the Dough Counter Supreme and Meat Lovers. Salads include a Simple Salad, Caesar, Loaded Antipasto, Mandarin Chicken and Cobb, and desserts run from a $5 cake slice to a $7.99 peanut butter brownie.

It's counter service: order at the register, no reservations. Online ordering for pickup runs through Toast.

Who's behind it

Dough Counter is run by the family behind Marco's Coal-Fired Pizza: Mark and Kristy Dym, their kids Zack Dym and Samantha Monterosso, and "bonus child" Jaime Avina. Per Dough Counter's own site, the family built Marco's Coal-Fired into what it calls Colorado's premier destination for Verace Pizza Napoletana, then started Dough Counter to bring two more pizza styles, New York and Sicilian, to the lineup.
