A spa that treats the tea as part of the treatment is open just south of Park Meadows. SereniTea Spa & Tea Lounge puts it in one line: "Where the massage ends, the tea begins." Every service ends with a freshly brewed cup of specialty Chinese tea, blended for the spa and poured while you get dressed.
The spa soft-opened on July 16 and held its grand opening on Sept. 3, per its Instagram. It's proudly woman owned and Asian owned. Owner Mu Tao "built Serenitea on one idea: that a massage is only as good as the care behind the hands."
Where it is

What's on the menu
Massage. The signature is Oriental Meridian Therapy: traditional Chinese meridian techniques, acupressure and heat therapy, starting with an exam in a scanning machine to pinpoint pain or misalignment. It runs $59 for 30 minutes, $89 for 60, $129 for 90 and $179 for 120. The booking page also lists a Himalayan Salt Stone Massage ($95, 60 minutes), Lymphatic Drainage ($95, 60 minutes) and Cupping ($40, 15 minutes).
Head spa. A Thai shampoo service that starts with a scalp exam under a camera that magnifies the scalp 50x, then a deep cleanse and a scalp, shoulder, neck and arm massage. Options run from the 60-minute Head Spa Shampoo ($99) to the 120-minute Luxury Anti-Aging Head Spa ($220).
Reflexology. Foot & Hand Reflexology with steam therapy, LED light and an exfoliating scrub: $89 for 60 minutes, $129 for 90.
Facials and medi-spa. SkinCeuticals facials from a $65 Express Refresh to a $295 Advanced Corrective Peel, plus microneedling with growth factors from $499. Peels start with a $50 first-visit consultation.
The tea lounge
You don't need a treatment to come in. The lounge takes walk-ins for a cup, and the menu lists ten teas, led by Fujian Oolong, Premium Wuyi Oolong, Jasmine Green and a black tea that the spa calls "full and malty, no bitterness." There's afternoon tea with snacks, an outdoor patio, and the lounge can be booked for small parties. The tea bar sits among moss and stone, with gongfu teaware, shelves of tea tins and an indoor stream. Tea to go and loose-leaf tins are on the way. The spa says to call and it will tell you the day the first tins are ready.
Inside the treatment rooms, the massage beds are set with Himalayan salt stones, there are 18 aromatherapy options at the incense bar, and the rooms have a backlit bamboo moon window.
