Sports Official (PT)- Volleyball

About the Role

This position will require the official to maintain fairness and respect during games while ensuring the safety of all participants. Duties include inspecting equipment and resolving rule infractions.

Responsibilities

• Officiates assigned sporting events with fairness and respect for all players.
• Maintains a fun and safe environment during league play.
• Judges performances in competitions to award points and determine results.
• Conducts inspections of sporting equipment and field conditions.
• Verifies game scores with the onsite Sports Supervisor.
• Performs disciplinary actions for rule infractions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Prior experience as a player, coach, instructor or official is required.
• Concussion recognition training required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
