Patient Care Technician Float Pool Full Time Days

About the Role

As a Patient Care Technician, you will perform treatments according to established policies and procedures while providing patient care tailored to individual needs. Your role includes assisting registered nurses in delivering care and maintaining a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments according to policy and procedure.
• Assist in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Document and report all procedures in accordance with department policy.

Requirements

• High School graduation or equivalent.
• 1+ year of applicable Patient Care Technician experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support – CPR Certification (BLS) required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) required.
