Phlebotomy Services Technician

About the Role

As a Phlebotomy Services Technician, you will perform various specimen collection techniques while ensuring quality and compliance in the collection process. You will also assist in processing samples for testing and resolving unusual test orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous, capillary, urine drug screen, and swab collections
• Ensure quality collection including appropriate sample container and identification
• Receive and assess priority of specimens for testing

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Completion of a phlebotomy program
• Phlebotomy work experience preferred
• NHA, NPCE, or ASPT Phlebotomy Technician certification preferred
