Environmental Service Technician

About the Role

As an Environmental Service Technician, you will clean assigned areas daily, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. You will also demonstrate knowledge of infection control and properly operate cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned patient and public areas daily and sanitize all surfaces
• Demonstrate knowledge of infection control and isolation procedures
• Document all work performed
• Stock paper items, cleaning solutions, and supplies
• Collect and stage soiled linen for pickup

Requirements

• Organizational, verbal, and customer relations skills
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong communication skills (read, write, and speak English)
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• CNA certification preferred
