CT Tech PT

About the Role

The CT Tech is responsible for performing high-quality CT examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols. This role involves ensuring patient safety, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with healthcare providers for continuity of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations ensuring optimal image quality
• Review patient history to confirm exam appropriateness and identify contraindications
• Prepare and administer IV contrast and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Position patients accurately using immobilization devices when necessary
• Operate all imaging equipment safely, including scanners, injectors, and monitors
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and PACS systems

Requirements

• Registered Technologist - Radiography RT(R) (ARRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification
• High School graduate or equivalent
• 1+ years radiology experience and CT training program completion preferred
