Patient Care Technician CNA Full-time and Part-time

About the Role

As a Patient Care Technician, you will perform treatments according to policy and procedure while ensuring patient care that's appropriate to age and acuity. The role involves participating in practice changes and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments according to policy and procedure.
• Function in clinical emergencies appropriately.
• Participate in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety for patients and staff.
• Assist in delivery of patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Document and report all procedures in accordance with department policy.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• 1+ year of applicable Patient Care Technician experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support – CPR Certification required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) required.
