About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Monitor physician schedules and organize patient care
  • Room patients and take vital signs
  • Assist physicians with examinations and procedures
  • Administer medications and maintain competency
  • Audit ordered tests for timely receipt and results
  • Delegate duties to office staff and manage operational issues

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • 2+ years of related work experience
  • Medical Assistant Certification from an approved organization
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS)
  • Knowledge of vital signs and specimen collection
  • Organizational skills
