Certified Clinical Medical Assistant

About the Role

As a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, you will monitor physician schedules and organize patient care to ensure timely visits. You will assist physicians with examinations and procedures while maintaining open communication for quality care.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients and takes vital signs
• Documents reasons for visits, patient history, and allergies
• Assists physicians during exams and procedures
• Administers medications and maintains competency
• Manages nursing supplies and reports needs to leadership
• Conducts training sessions for clinical staff

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• 2+ years of related work experience or completion of AHMG Medical Assistant program
• Basic Life Support – CPR Certification
• Medical Assistant Certification from an approved organization
• Vital signs expertise
• Organizational skills
