About the Role
Moderate needs teachers are responsible for the provision of an individualized service delivery model that primarily utilizes inclusive practices through a combination of special education support provided in and outside of the general classroom environment. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of effective instruction and the ability to individualize based on students' diverse needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage student behavior and maintain discipline according to school rules.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
- Organize and implement appropriate instructional programs in a supportive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of students' progress and prepare required reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- Colorado Department of Education Special Education Generalist License
- Colorado READ Act designation
