Professional Learning Specialist (PLS)

About the Role

Under the direction of the Principal and/or Assistant Principal, acts as a professional learning coordinator and resource for teacher development. This position involves planning, facilitating, and evaluating professional development initiatives to support school improvement and teacher efficacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead school initiatives
• Collaborate with leadership to build World Class Education opportunities for staff
• Create personalized induction opportunities for new teachers
• Facilitate data analysis opportunities for teachers
• Coordinate and evaluate professional development aligned with DCSD standards
• Train mentors and teacher leaders

Requirements

• Teaching License - Colorado Department of Education
• Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• Strong collaborative and leadership skills
