About the Role

The School Psychologist will serve students requiring various interventions, utilizing expertise in assessment and psycho-educational practices. This role supports a safe and inclusive environment, fostering academic and emotional success for students.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively implement crisis prevention, intervention, response and recovery efforts.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements for licensure.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with school personnel and parents.
  • Support a safe and respectful learning environment to alleviate barriers to learning and promote student success.
  • Complete safety screenings and assessments.
  • Document health-related services for Medicaid reimbursement.

Requirements

  • Specialist Degree in School Psychology
  • Current Colorado Department of Education Special Services License
  • Master's Degree in Educational Psychology
  • Ability to operate personal computers and educational software
  • Crisis intervention training
  • Ability to complete safety screenings.
