RN Operating Room FT Days

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive surgical care. You monitor patient progress and advocate for safety while maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and needs to develop individualized care plans.
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely per prescribed protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols to prevent infection.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions such as IVs, wound care, and specimen collection.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Knowledge of equipment, procedures, and protocols required for nursing care
• EMR charting experience required
• Excellent interpersonal skills; works independently and self-motivated
