About the Role

The Water Resources Engineer will perform hydrologic and hydrogeologic analyses to support long-term planning. This position plays a critical role in evaluating and managing the Town’s integrated water supply portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Performs hydrologic, hydrogeologic, and water supply analyses to support long-term planning.
  • Assists in the evaluation and management of the Town’s integrated water supply portfolio.
  • Applies engineering and technical principles to support water resources infrastructure projects.
  • Supports the design and construction of water resources Capital Improvement Projects.
  • Develops, maintains, and utilizes data systems to monitor groundwater levels.
  • Prepares technical memoranda, reports, and presentations to communicate with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science or a related field.
  • Experience in water resources engineering, hydrology, or related field.
  • A valid Colorado driver's license.
  • Ability to perform and interpret hydrologic and hydrogeologic analyses.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of standard engineering and office software.
