About the Role
The Water Resources Engineer will perform hydrologic and hydrogeologic analyses to support long-term planning. This position plays a critical role in evaluating and managing the Town’s integrated water supply portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Performs hydrologic, hydrogeologic, and water supply analyses to support long-term planning.
- Assists in the evaluation and management of the Town’s integrated water supply portfolio.
- Applies engineering and technical principles to support water resources infrastructure projects.
- Supports the design and construction of water resources Capital Improvement Projects.
- Develops, maintains, and utilizes data systems to monitor groundwater levels.
- Prepares technical memoranda, reports, and presentations to communicate with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science or a related field.
- Experience in water resources engineering, hydrology, or related field.
- A valid Colorado driver's license.
- Ability to perform and interpret hydrologic and hydrogeologic analyses.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of standard engineering and office software.
