About the Role

This Nurse Resident role applies clinical knowledge and skills across the full range of diagnoses, procedures, and medications for the unit's patient population. You communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team while adhering to regulatory standards to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge and skills pertaining to all diagnoses, procedures, medications, complications, and equipment for the unit patient population.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete timely assessments including physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Make appropriate decisions and implement interventions based on nursing diagnoses.
• Set measurable, achievable goals and develop individualized plans of care.
• Assess and interpret diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition.

Requirements

• Associate's of Nursing required (Bachelor's of Nursing preferred)
• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
