About the Role

Under the direction of school leadership, the Professional Learning Specialist acts as a coordinator, mentor, and resource for teacher development. This role involves creating supportive learning environments and promoting effective teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Create personalized induction opportunities
• Provide ongoing mentoring of all teachers
• Facilitate data analysis opportunities
• Coordinate and evaluate professional development aligned with DCSD standards
• Lead school initiatives
• Collaborate with leadership to build educational opportunities for staff

Requirements

• Teaching License - Colorado Department of Education
• Bachelor's Degree (Required)
