Preop/PACU RN Contract

About the Role

As a Preop/PACU RN, you will provide comprehensive education to patients from admission to discharge, overseeing medical and nursing care. You will work in a supportive environment dedicated to the healing ministry of Christ.

Responsibilities

• Provide necessary education to patients and families from admission to discharge.
• Document education provided, including patient responses and outcomes.
• Deliver competent, compassionate care to patients in pain according to policy.
• Administer medications accurately as ordered.
• Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges professionally.
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures.

Requirements

• Must have 2 years of preop or PACU nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) required.
• Associate degree in nursing required.
