Middle School Cheer Coach

About the Role

The coach will provide instruction on cheer techniques, stunts, tumbling, dance, and crowd leadership while fostering a positive team environment. Additionally, administrative tasks such as maintaining records and effective communication with students, parents, and school staff will also be part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cheer training programs tailored to skill levels.
• Conduct practices and provide instruction on cheers and routines.
• Ensure all cheer activities are conducted in accordance with safety protocols.
• Foster a positive team atmosphere and encourage teamwork and school spirit.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• First Aid/CPR Certification - Colorado.
• Willingness to complete the NFHS Cheer and Dance Safety Certification.
• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
