Sr. Financial Systems Analyst

About the Role

This position serves as the Finance Department’s functional subject matter expert for the Town’s financial management system and related Finance applications. It involves supporting system configuration, workflows, and ensuring data integrity while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary functional owner for financial system processes.
• Support the configuration, maintenance, and testing of financial systems.
• Coordinate user roles, permissions, and security reviews in accordance with policies.
• Assist in financial system implementations and upgrades by providing expertise.
• Document Finance system processes and configuration decisions.
• Provide training and support to Finance staff and system users.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in financial operations or related fields.
• Experience working with financial business processes such as accounting and procurement.
• Ability to analyze business processes and translate needs into system configuration.
• Strong communication skills for clear interactions with technical and non-technical staff.
