Lead Surgical Technologist OR FT Days

About the Role

This role involves coordinating surgery schedules and ensuring the sterility of all items in the surgical field. You will also play a vital part in maintaining patient safety within the operative environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates surgery schedules for physicians' operating rooms.
• Ensures sterility of all items in the sterile field.
• Handles surgical specimens with 100% accuracy.
• Acts as a liaison between physicians and operating room staff.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgical cases.
• Increases clinical knowledge and skills independently.

Requirements

• Completion of accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Basic Life Support – CPR Certification (BLS) required.
• 1+ years of experience in a surgical setting required.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and instrumentation required.
• Critical thinking and patient assessment skills.
