About the Role

As the Kitchen Manager, you will manage all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health regulations and food safety standards. You will supervise kitchen staff and promote good community relations among various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage food preparation and service
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Maintain and monitor food inventory and costs
  • Train and develop kitchen staff on safety and HACCP practices
  • Handle payroll and staffing decisions
  • Foster positive relationships with the community and school staff

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe Manager Certification within 6 months of hire
  • Ability to manage and train kitchen staff
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
