Campus Security Specialist

About the Role

This role involves developing and promoting positive relationships with students and community members while ensuring a safe environment. The Campus Security Specialist will monitor student activities and enforce school rules to maintain discipline and safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise students’ activities at assigned locations in the building and/or on the grounds.
• Enforce Student Conduct and Discipline Code and administer warnings to students as necessary.
• Assist law enforcement and District Security with school district policies on controlled substances.
• Watch for disturbances and intervene to maintain order during confrontational situations.
• Monitor visitor access during school hours to ensure only authorized persons enter.

Requirements

• One (1) to three (3) years job-related experience preferred.
• High School or Equivalent.
• First Aid/CPR Certification - Colorado.
