If you are doing the long weekend in DougCo, this pairs with Castle Rock's 4th of July at Festival Park on July 4 — fireworks Saturday night downtown, polo brunch Sunday in Sedalia.

About the Denver Polo Club
The Denver Polo Club is, despite its name, in Sedalia — about 30 minutes from downtown Denver and roughly 10–15 minutes from Castle Rock via US-85. It has been Colorado's premier international polo club for more than three decades. The Sunday Funday Tailgate Parties are the club's public-facing tradition — a few times each year, the gates open to spectators for an afternoon of polo, cocktails, and music on the field.
The format is consistent across the season: gates at 10 AM, Polo Match #1 around 11 AM, a Westernaires drill team performance around 12:15 PM, divot stomp at halftime, and a DJ + dance party on the field after the polo wraps. The themed Sundays — 4th of July and Disco — layer additional programming on top.
The club's Eventbrite organizer profile lists 9 years of event hosting and over 7,100 total attendees across past events — a long-running, well-tested format.
