Life Time is building a 102,000-square-foot athletic club in Castle Pines, and the question everyone in town is asking has had no public answer: what does it cost?
Life Time doesn't publish pricing. Not on its website, not in its app, not in any coverage of the Castle Pines club. The only way to find out officially is to join the waitlist and wait to be contacted.
So here is the best answer currently available, with the caveats it deserves.
The numbers that have circulated
Castle Pines-area real estate agent Mariel Ross shared a grand-opening breakdown publicly this week, explicitly flagging it as subject to change:
| Membership | Monthly |
|---|---|
| Individual | $329 |
| Two adults | $489 |
| Three adults | $579 |
| Each child 13 and under | +$100 |
By that structure, her own household — two adults and three kids — lands at about $789 a month.
One detail worth catching: the child rate stops at 13. A 14-year-old is priced as an adult, which changes the math considerably for families with teenagers.
Treat this as a strong indication, not a rate card. It is one prospective member relaying what she was quoted ahead of opening, posted publicly on Instagram. Life Time's own materials state that "membership levels, prices, dues, fees, benefits, services and amenities vary by club and are subject to change at any time." Anything you're quoted directly supersedes this.
The part Life Time does confirm: joining early is cheaper
Life Time will not publish a number, but it is explicit that waitlist members get a better one. Its own write-up of the club says those on the list receive preferred pricing — "a savings on monthly membership dues, which will increase upon the club's opening".
Alongside that, pre-opening members are promised Life Time app access, a premium branded apparel or gear item, one complimentary Dynamic Personal Training session per adult, and priority class reservations seven days before opening.
So the rates above are most likely pre-opening rates, and the post-opening number is higher by an amount Life Time hasn't stated.
What you get for it
The club sits at 7373 Canyon Forge Drive, in The Canyons east of I-25 — two stories, 102,600 square feet. It is Life Time's ninth Colorado location and eighth in the Denver metro, led by general manager Jeff May, who held the same role at Life Time Parker-Aurora.
- Nine pickleball courts — four indoor, five outdoor, with instruction, leagues and tournaments
- A resort-style Beach Club — lap and leisure pools, waterslides, lounge seating, bistro dining
- Recovery — hydrotherapy suites with saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools and cold plunges, plus HydroMassage and CryoLounge chairs, Normatec compression and Hyperice devices
- Six boutique studios — CTR, Pilates, barre and yoga among them — with Life Time's signature GTX, Alpha and Ultra Fit classes included
- Kids Academy for ages 3 months to 11 years, with a toddler area, infant room, gymnasium and its own studios; a Junior Membership covers up to 2.5 hours of daily childcare
- LifeSpa — skincare, body treatments, hair and nails
- LifeClinic — chiropractic care
- Work Club Lounge — flexible coworking space
- Dynamic Personal Training and Dynamic Stretch specialists on an expansive workout floor
One absence worth noting for anyone comparing clubs: Life Time's Castle Pines page does not list a basketball court. That is what their page lists rather than a confirmed omission, but it is a common expectation at this price point, so it's worth asking about directly.
When it opens
Fall 2026 — and that is as precise as Life Time has been willing to get.
Life Time has published exactly one date, and it is not a month.
Its own write-up of the club, dated July 13, 2026, says fall 2026. That is the company's own word and the best answer available.
Everything more specific is someone else's estimate:
| Source | Says |
|---|---|
| Life Time's own write-up, July 13, 2026 | fall 2026 |
| Life Time's Castle Pines page (checked Aug. 26) | no date — "Join the Waitlist" only |
| The waitlist confirmation Life Time sends | no date — "currently under construction" |
| Castle Pines Connection, May 2026 | "expected to open later this year" |
| Castle Pines Connection, groundbreaking coverage | early 2027 |
We joined the waitlist to check the last one ourselves. The confirmation gives no opening date at all — only that the club is under construction and that pricing follows when memberships open.
So: fall 2026 per Life Time, and nobody outside the company is in a position to be more precise than that. If the date matters — for timing the cancellation of another membership, say — ask the concierge team and get it in writing.
Is it worth it?
That's not our call to make, but the debate is worth seeing. When Ross posted her numbers, the replies split fast — one commenter argued that at $800 a month "you may as well go to a country club," and pointed out how far dues have climbed against the amenities on offer.
The honest framing: this is priced as a country club that happens to have gym equipment, not as a gym. Whether that's good value depends entirely on whether a household would actually use the pools, the courts, the classes and the childcare, or just the treadmills.
For what it's worth, Castle Pines already has neighborhood pools, and free pickleball courts opened at The Canyons this month.
