About the Role

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist at AdventHealth, you will be part of a team committed to delivering exceptional care to patients of all ages. You will utilize your expertise in respiratory therapy to assess and monitor patients, ensuring optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of techniques and treatment modalities for patients of varying ages.
• Follows best practices to reduce potential medication errors.
• Documents all pertinent data on the patient’s medical record after completing service.
• Administers respiratory therapy treatments and understands the purpose and possible side effects of each.
• Performs all duties and responsibilities for the assigned shift.

Requirements

• Associate's in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Cert required.
