Respiratory Therapist II

About the Role

As a Respiratory Therapist, you’ll play an essential role in guiding patients through both routine care and critical moments. You'll have access to advanced respiratory technology and mentorship from experienced RT leaders.

Responsibilities

• Assessing respiratory status by performing focused exams and determining the need for respiratory interventions.
• Delivering evidence-based therapy through oxygen support and other treatments across emergency and critical care settings.
• Managing ventilation by assisting with artificial airway placement and monitoring patient responses.
• Supporting patients and the care team by educating patients and families and stabilizing newborns during deliveries.
• Maintaining equipment by ensuring readiness and preventive maintenance.

Requirements

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) or Vocational School Graduate or Associate Degree.
