Manager, Consumer Access

About the Role

The Manager of Consumer Access will manage the day-to-day operations of the team and ensure adherence to budget and labor guidelines. This role includes training and mentoring team members and ensuring work accuracy across the department.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the team and department
• Adhere to labor and budget guidelines and monitor time and attendance
• Train and evaluate team members and coordinate schedules
• Monitor the department's work for accuracy and workflow
• Develop and monitor facility schedule to ensure appropriate coverage
• Maintain rapport with ancillary departments and Talent Acquisition

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• 3+ years Revenue Cycle experience
• Advanced understanding of insurance knowledge and benefits
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft and database programs
• Supervisory and patient access experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
