Recreation Lead (PT)- Sports

About the Role

This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of recreation programs and services. It involves supervising staff and participants while ensuring all activities meet community needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform front-line, day-to-day services in program divisions.
• Ensure operations and maintenance of recreation services and events.
• Assist with employee supervision including recruitment and training.
• Manage participant conflicts and behavioral issues.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans.
• Oversee cleanliness of program areas and adherence to safety policies.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and two years of related experience.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Completion of concussion recognition training within 90 days of hire.
