Cultural Art & Enrichment Instructor (PT)- Cooking Instructor

About the Role

This position involves creating artistic and culinary experiences for youth and adults. The instructor will utilize age-appropriate teaching methods to foster a creative environment for skill development and artistic exploration.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver classes catered to youth and/or adults.
• Facilitate educational and safe classes or workshops.
• Develop curriculum that encourages participants to explore their culinary abilities.
• Maintain accurate class attendance records and prepare reports as needed.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Coordinate schedules for substitute instructors when necessary.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Two years of experience teaching cooking or arts to diverse age groups.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prefer an associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Culinary Arts).
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Strong classroom management skills.
