CT Tech FT Nights

About the Role

As a CT Technologist, you will perform various imaging exams while ensuring patient safety and quality care. You will be responsible for operating specialized imaging equipment and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Educates patients about the exam and completes all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
• Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors.

Requirements

• Associate's degree preferred; High School Grad or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in radiology and completion of a CT training program preferred.
• Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT)) required.
• Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) required.
• Knowledge of CT procedures and safety including radiation protection.
