Senior Financial Reporting Manager, Stock Plan Services

About the Role

The Senior Manager, Financial Reporting Manager will support corporate clients on equity compensation accounting in the Schwab EquiView system. This role requires expertise in ASC 718 and IFRS 2, with responsibilities including training on accounting topics and identifying system enhancements based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive financial reporting support to corporate clients and make recommendations to address reporting challenges
• Lead discovery and consultation conversations with corporate clients to determine their needs
• Act as a subject matter expert in share-based payment concepts
• Understand stock plan record-keeping system architecture and functionality
• Monitor regulatory changes and provide sales support
• Identify development opportunities and work with Product Management to implement new financial reporting features.

Requirements

• 7+ years work experience in the financial services industry
• 5 years experience in the equity compensation industry
• Strong communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Certified Equity Professional (CEP)
