Patient Safety Attendant

About the Role

As a Patient Safety Attendant at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge, you will be responsible for monitoring patients at risk for falls or self-harm. This role requires a commitment to patient care, teamwork, and real-time communication to enhance patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Watching patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being
• Identifying risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alerting the care team
• Documenting patient activity and changes throughout your shift
• Honoring patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information
• Collaborating closely with the healthcare team

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• High school diploma or equivalent
