Surgical Technologist OB II PRN

About the Role

The Surgical Technician demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to function in the scrub role during surgical procedures. This position requires experience in aseptic technique, and handling surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist surgical teams with instruments and supplies needed for the operation.
• Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and instruments.
• Participate in case preparation, including equipment needs and preference card accuracy.
• Educate staff and patients about surgical processes as needed.

Requirements

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist.
• Experience in the surgical setting.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and aseptic technique.
• Ability to collaborate with surgical staff effectively.
