About the Role

The rehabilitation staff nurse assists clients in adapting to an alternative lifestyle while providing a therapeutic environment for patients and their families. This role involves designing and implementing treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory to support physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in adapting to an alternative lifestyle
• Design and implement treatment strategies
• Provide a therapeutic environment for patients and families
• Work in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Promote self-care, physical and psychosocial health

Requirements

• Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• 1-3 years medical-surgical experience preferred
• Experience in Rehabilitation, Ortho, Neuro, or TCU preferred
