Loan Operations Specialist II

About the Role

In this role, you will perform loan maintenance for all loan types including recasts and payment adjustments, while providing superior service to both internal and external members. You will help to promote member relationships that exceed expectations and contribute to the achievement of departmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Consistently meet daily department demands and promote member satisfaction, retention and expansion.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all consumer loan criteria as well as Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Assist in reviewing current processes and recommend necessary updates.
• Ensure all documents are recorded within department service level agreements.
• Provide a high level of service and professionalism to members.
• Embrace ongoing education and apply new skills.

Requirements

• Ability to build relationships and work effectively in teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Credit and loan product knowledge and understanding of lending practices.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Six months’ proven customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
