RN Infusion

About the Role

This position requires delivering quality patient care using the nursing process while working within established policies and standards. The RN will engage in a collaborative environment to optimize patient outcomes and ensure that patient care is coordinated effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care related to infusion services based on patient assessment.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate, collaborating across disciplines.
• Evaluates learning needs of patients and/or families, providing education tailored to age, culture, and condition.
• Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel and may precept student nurses and new hires.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or state board of nursing approved.
• 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and BLS certification.
