MRI Technologist PRN

About the Role

As a technologist, you will operate MRI scanners to produce quality images for accurate diagnoses. Your role also involves preparing patients for procedures and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam process.

Responsibilities

• Position and prepare patients for exams according to the procedure
• Perform MRI procedures and monitor patients' needs during the process
• Complete documentation for each study performed
• Use critical thinking when conducting procedures
• Participate in training of new staff and students
• Maintain knowledge of scanners and exam protocols

Requirements

• Currently registered as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR registry)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• One year of experience in an MRI Imaging Department preferred
