About the Role

The Medical Practice Technician performs routine clinical or administrative duties in support of assigned areas. This position is crucial to patient care and includes various responsibilities in both primary care and specialty care clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with performing patient care under the direction of a provider or nurse.
  • Performs basic clinical skills and specimen collection.
  • Monitors and communicates changes in patient conditions.
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering and troubleshooting.
  • Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum Required Education: HS Diploma or GED.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  • Current State Licensure as an EMT or EMT-I.
  • BLS or CPR certification must be valid within sixty days of hire.
