About the Role

At Canvas Credit Union, the Lending Services Specialist II plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless processing of loan documents. This entails working closely with members and team members to gather and verify necessary documentation, ensuring a streamlined experience for all parties involved.

Responsibilities

• Contact members to obtain needed documentation within service agreements.
• Process consumer loan applications following established guidelines.
• Provide exceptional member experiences aligned with Canvas' core values.
• Review loan applications to record all required information accurately.
• Maintain service level agreements for member communications and scheduling loan closings.
• Facilitate the clearing of underwriting conditions.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong relationship building and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to perform financial calculations.
• High school diploma or GED; additional education preferred.
• One to three years of loan processing experience.
• Multi-lingual capabilities are a plus.
