Interventional Radiology Technologist II PRN

About the Role

As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you'll utilize your expert knowledge in special and interventional procedures while ensuring positive patient care. Your role requires strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with both patients and medical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care during interventional procedures.
• Maintain strong communication with radiologists and referring physicians.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills in prioritizing daily tasks.
• Assist in preparing patients and the environment for interventional procedures.
• Participate in call rotation, including weekends and holidays.
• Cross-train to additional modalities as required.

Requirements

• Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program.
• Current ARRT certification and registry in Radiography or Interventional Radiology.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology preferred.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
