About the Role

As Director, Data Foundations & Enablement, you will take responsibility for ensuring that trusted and governed data is available for analytics and decision-making. You will lead initiatives to establish essential data management practices that support scalable AI adoption and improve critical data assets.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with technology architects and engineering teams to implement data consumption strategies.
  • Define and operationalize data contracts and service-level agreements.
  • Design a governed semantic layer for trusted data consumption.
  • Apply data mesh and data fabric concepts in alignment with enterprise data strategy.
  • Lead the maintenance of Critical Data Elements with end-to-end lineage.
  • Enable data consumers and lead the Data Management and Data Governance teams.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of experience in data management and architecture roles within financial services.
  • Work experience in financial asset management or investment operations.
  • Executive presence and strong communication skills with senior leaders.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data platforms.
  • Expertise in data governance frameworks and data quality.
  • Ability to lead and develop data governance teams.
