Interventional Technologist I

About the Role

This position performs critical imaging and interventional procedures. It requires independent decision-making and the ability to act as a subject matter expert in cardiac and vascular care.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepares patients for procedures.
• Assists physician with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Educates patients about procedures and ensures cooperation.
• Monitors patient condition and reports changes.
• Performs quality control on equipment and resolves malfunctions.
• Requires critical thinking and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in Vascular-interventional radiology (VI) or similar.
• 6 months' experience with interventional procedures.
