About the Role

The Advanced Care Partner (ACP) role is designed for nursing students who are enrolled in or have completed Med/Surg I. This position serves as a paid nurse internship, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under supervision.
• Gathers vital signs and measures blood glucose.
• Performs sterile dressing changes and starts peripheral IVs.
• Assists patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Keeps care area stocked, cleaned, and orderly.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire.
• Enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
• Proof of enrollment in Med/Surg 1 or equivalent.
