Emergency Department RN

About the Role

As an Emergency Department RN, you will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Prioritize wellness and evidence-based practice
• Model proficiency by precepting new staff
• Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care
• Work with a multidisciplinary team on exceptional patient outcomes
• Deliver care in Emergency Department level of care up to and including level 1 trauma designation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
• PALS Certification
• BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
