Director of Food and Beverage

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Food and Beverage who will be a strategic and service-driven leader with a strong background in multi-unit food service management. The ideal candidate will focus on food quality, presentation, and hospitality standards, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop team members through ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to ensure high operational performance.
• Manage departmental finances, including budgeting, cost control, and fiscal accountability.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain systems for effective cost control.
• Track performance through monthly operating reports and drive progress toward financial goals.
• Continuously evaluate operations, programs, training, purchasing, and personnel to maintain excellence.
• Analyze resident satisfaction and implement action plans to enhance the dining experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years restaurant or food service management experience including production, service, sanitation, training, and education is required.
• Serve Safe Certified obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Additional certifications are required by federal, state, and/or local regulations.
